The goal of regenerative luxury tourism is to increase the vitality of nature and renew the well-being of people and communities, thus offering experiences and actions of doing good in tourism. The project collaborates with companies to design high‑quality, hospitable, and experiential service paths that align with the principles of regenerative luxury tourism.

The new horizons in luxury service innovation –project (LUPPO)
The LUPPO project innovates and designs regenerative luxury tourism service pathways in partnership with local businesses to provide a framework and tools for luxury tourism in Lapland. The framework deepens shared understanding what luxury means today — not excess, but purposeful, sustainable, and high‑quality experiences.

Project info
The LUPPO -project aims to innovate and shape service packages in line with the principles of new luxury and regenerative tourism, and to support employee experience management, marketing and sales of companies working in luxury tourism.
Schedule: 1.4.2025 – 31.5.2027
Lead partner: Lapland UAS
Budget: Project total budget 271 760 €,
EU –support 217 408 €.
Funding comes from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and it has been admitted by the Regional Council of Lapland.
Results: Shared understanding of the core principles, framework for the development of regenerative luxury tourism services, guidelines for leading customer and employee experience responsibly.
